Low-Latency Streaming Tips

Configure these settings in OBS to reduce latency:

1. Go to Settings → Output → Streaming
2. Set Output Mode to "Advanced"
3. Encoder: x264 (or hardware encoder if available)
4. Rate Control: CBR
5. Keyframe Interval: 2 seconds
6. CPU Usage Preset: veryfast or faster
7. Profile: high
8. Tune: zerolatency
9. B-frames: 0

Additional settings:

• Settings → Advanced → Network: set "Dynamically change bitrate" to enabled
• Settings → Advanced → Network: Check "Low latency mode"
• Lower your video bitrate (3000-5000 Kbps is often sufficient)
• Use a resolution of 720p instead of 1080p
• Use 30 fps instead of 60 fps
